Lifeguard Station 3, Leo Carillo

This view of Leo Carillo Beach and Life Guard Station number 3 is just 150 yards north from the vantage point of my other painting, Leo Carillo Reflections.  Behind the viewer would be the Pacific Coast Highway.

I was trying to capture the sense of space with the distinct foreground, midground and background presented that day.  The figures give a sense of scale and the sky is clear and expansive.
