Artist Comments
This farm scene is completely imaginary. I usually paint plein aire or from photo reference from a place I've been. This was a case of experimenting with some painting techniques. Sometimes I'll do this to push myself into areas I'm not so sure of. In this case, the painting turned out pretty well, so I'm putting it on my website.
I like the color and detail progression from the hazy distance to the more detailed mid and foreground.
In addition to offering the original painting for sale, open edition signed prints with a certificate of authenticity are avaiable for sale in several sizes.
