Pansies, Casa Buitoni, San Sepulcro, Italy

Casa Buitoni is the villa that is shown on the Buitoni Pasta label.  Nestle, who owns Buitoni brand, made the Casa Buitoni into a real showplace and there are around 8 rooms that serve as guest accommodations if you are lucky enough to get an invitation to stay there.  It's not open to the public.  I was able to stay there quite a few times on business and became quite familiar with the Casa and the viliage of San Sepulcro, a medieval Tuscan village right down the hill below the Casa.

I always brought my travel water color set with me.  This time I ast and painted a pot of pansies in the rear garden plein air.
